I was part of an Agile team that designed and implemented integrations for our enterprise software product (MKS Integrity). These included Visual Studio, MathWorks Simulink, and Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.

I managed a team of developers who worked on the MKS Integrity enterprise software product. I was involved in general feature development, as well as our initiative to add Requirements Management functionality to the product. I also helped implement a new version of our Visual Studio integration.

I was the team leader for both the Modality Team, and later, the Impax Server Team. I was involved in team management, release capacity planning, resource management, and communication and promotion of technical initiatives.

I was a senior technical resource specializing in the application of 3D visualization technology to business-related problem domains.

I managed the team that built the In3D Business Visualization toolkit, as well as being fully involved in the development of the tool, from implementation to being our build master.

I was a contract software analyst at Nortel's Bramalea facility, helping to design, build, test, and train for a field performance tracking and quality analysis system called EPMAS.

I worked on GIS products like GeoCAD, and created product prototypes, including a real-estate agent support system.

During my undergraduate and graduate tenure I did some contract work to keep busy. Here’swhat I did, in reverse chronological order:Prepared and taught a fourth year Networked Systems course at the University of Guelph.Worked as a contract software engineer at Cortelco USA in Guelph for 8 months, buildingISDN compatible voice/data phone systems, using PLM/286 and C.Consulted at Ontario Hydro for 6 months, building a pilot project to integrate spatial databaseentities with transmission line CAD functions, using C and X/Motif on Unix workstations.Worked as a software engineer at Mobile Data International for 4 months, building a RadioNetwork Controller, using C and the pSOS real-time kernel.

I was involved in all aspects of the System 3100 Voice/Data Business Communications System. I implemented many telecom features and facilities, including diagnostic tools and prototype automated testing efforts.
