Responsible for acting as an operations SME for the Complex, supporting the optimization of equipment monitoring and care activities, and provides input to optimize the production plan with economics and scheduling.Responsible for the implementation of the refinery production and unit optimization plans consistent with the unit’s reliability philosophy and guidelines. Directed the Operations Team to achieve the refinery production plan and unit optimization targets in a safe, reliable, and environmentally sound manner. This was accomplished through incremental optimization, identifying control scheme problems and opportunities, identifying unit constraints, and effectively responding to abnormal situations. Also worked with the complex superintendent to drive key initiatives and activities in the complex.Prioritized and coordinated area maintenance work activities with refinery planning and execution teams.
