I originally founded the company with my youngest son Joe in 2010, with the aim of providing a personable and affordable service , installing renewable energy technology across the West Midlands and Welsh Borders.ESP Energy has since grown to a 40 plus in house team. We remain a family business with my eldest son Ross, and brother Chris, both employed in key roles. The business motto of "if we would not be happy with this installation at our place, then we won't fit it at yours"​, means we will and do walk away from systems we do not believe will work or benefit the customer. 70% of our work comes from referrals, and I sleep well at night.Installations are a mix of commercial and domestic and we take on the small two man jobs, right through to complex multi team projects. No job is too large for our highly qualified team of professionals, all of our work is kept '​in house', including all electrical and plumbing work. I have a wide portfolio of Commercial and Domestic Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Biomass Boiler installations. We are leading experts in Renewable Energy, offering Consultancy and advice. I carry out seminars and talks, varying from specific energy type, through to general discussions on renewable energy.My home and business have a total of 8 renewable installations of various technologies and products, we use these to inform potential customers and organisations about renewable energy and how it fits into a real working environment. I also like to be heavily involved in community projects, choosing to sponsor local sports teams and Charity Events to spread the word on renewable energy.
