I manage a team of 26 staff including 20 Assessors, Verifiers and 5 Sales staff. We deliver workbased learning mainly apprenticeships in a variety of subjects. I'm responsible for the day to day running of the centre including managing the budget, staff development, staff performance, hitting start and achiever targets, staff training, motivation of the team and managing the Skills Funding Agency contract.

It was basically the same role as I do now.

I managed all the staff training for the 4 retail sites owned by the company including induction training, sales training and product knowledge training. I wrote all the training materials including the induction handbook. I was also responsible for the companies HR writing the employee handbook, issuing contracts of employment along with writing other HR policies including the Disciplinary and Grievance procedures.
