Mike leads a diverse organization of 750+ engineers supporting both the Controls & Avionics Solutions (CAS) and Power & Propulsion Solutions (PPS) business areas. The US Controls engineering organization, which includes locations in Endicott NY, Fort Wayne IN, Los Angeles CA, and Seattle WA, provides expertise to deliver high integrity controls, cabin and avionic controls, and propulsion and energy management capabilities in both commercial and military markets. Since joining BAE Systems, Mike has held various technical and programmatic leadership roles across the organization. Most recently, Mike served as the discipline leader for the CAS and PPS Hardware, Systems and Software teams. He has also worked as the Product Realization Group leader for Cabins, Controls & Mission Systems; Development Program manager for the latest generation of a fly-by-wire flight control electronics system for commercial aircraft; Integrated Product Team lead for multiple development projects, and Operations Program Management support at the Fort Wayne production facility. In addition to supporting the specific business areas noted, Mike also partners and collaborates across the Electronic Systems engineering organization as well as other functions to effectively support performance improvement and enterprise initiatives.

Primary engineering leader responsible for the execution of the full life cycle of a portfolio of projects, inclusive of product road mapping & strategy, business capture, development and production/aftermarket support. The Cabins, Controls & Missions Systems portfolio had a total execution budget of $100M+ and supported multiple Product Lines within Controls & Avionics Solutions (Air Transport/Boeing Commercial, Military Aircraft Systems, Engine Systems, & Regional Jet).

Development Program Manager for a large scale commercial Fly-By-Wire Flight Control System development for the 777X platform.

Systems Engineer and Project Engineering for multiple development programs primarily focused on the development of High Integrity Control Systems. The end products ranged from Series/Parallel Hybridrive Systems for Commercial Transit Vehicles to Fly-By-Wire controls for commercial flight control systems.
