Azure cloud solutions architect for NAVAIR (PMA268) and Airforce (F-15) programs. Currently leading the team that is implementing NAVAIR’s first Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool in Azure at an IL5 level. Team Lead of the unclassified network, managing a team of seven people. Responsible for the day to day operations to include Scanning with Nessus, remediating with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), server maintenance, server patching with Blade Logic. Lead the quarterly effort for STIG compliance, completing STIG checklist, implementing and reconfiguring of GPO’s. Attend weekly Change Management meetings that affect changes Lockheed wide. Chosen member of a select team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) leading the efforts in having new software authorized for the Flight Test Network (FTN). Perform Tier 3 helpdesk support for user and network issues. Developed and implemented a Standard Operating Procedure to remediate machines that have fallen out of compliance. Senior SME Lead directing the effort to implement Windows 8 tablets onto a FTN connected WIFI network for the Flight Test Engineers (FTE’s). The WIFI network is fully FIPS 140-2 compliant. First Level 4 to obtain a “Senior Management” position reporting directly to the Site Director of JSF.

As the team lead, provides support with all project management functions, to include work scope definitions, project schedules, cost estimates, hardware acquisition, quality management and project monitoring. Provide routine support working with Symantec Ghost hard drive imaging and restore functions; McAfee Anti-virus software and DISA Host Based Security System (HBSS); Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) reporting; Altering Registry settings by either manually or through self-developed automated script files; Developing IAVA mitigation documents; Implementing IAVA patch silent Installations through command line switches; and the Setup, Mounting and Dismounting of Virtual Drives.

Provides IT support to NAVAIR, Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF) Battle Space Modeling and Simulation Division. Responsible for analysis, configuration, maintenance, and administration of classified and unclassified Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) networks. Develops and maintains relationships with aircraft platform customers. Communicates with the customer regarding the details of technical services and capabilities. Receives customer network requirements; assesses customer’s needs and ACETEF’s network capabilities and configuration; tailors network configurations to meet customer requirements, and implements those custom configuration changes in order to accommodate specific flight simulation scenarios. Manages a wide array of computing hardware and operating systems from multiple vendors to achieve the optimum performance for batch and interactive processing, as well as response time. Maximizes network speed and reliability by scheduling and executing system maintenance and configuration changes at most opportune times. Installs, operates, and maintain servers and other computer systems. Analyzes system performance, identifies system needs, recommends technology upgrades, and plans and implements upgrades for platform systems, central processing units, disk upgrades, etc. Applies Six Sigma process to plan, design, and implement new and improved information systems. Designs and reconfigures software needed to successfully integrate new hardware into the network. Specifically, designed and implemented new router and switch configurations for the J-Net network, which improved both the security and speed of the network giving users better real-time network capability.

Provided field engineering and IT support services to USN for Battle Force Tactical Network (BFTN) system. Performed failure analysis and troubleshooting of shipboard command-line Linux operating systems, including Redhat, McAfee Sidewinder, and Checkpoint Secure Platform Pro; and shipboard router templates of interior, edge, and backbone devices, including Cisco and Quagga routing engines. Led a six member team during the shipboard updating of Cisco routers onboard 20 USN ships.Provided Tier-3 helpdesk support to USN ships. Analyzed BFTN issues in distributed network and laboratory environments. Performed networking requirements analysis and made recommendations for hardware and software upgrades and performance improvements. Provided classroom and hands-on laboratory BFTN system operations and capabilities training to USN operators.Received Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Lightning Bolt Award in August 2011for support during the Triton Warrior Exercise.

Performed installation certifications; system integration; and system testing including Ship Alterations (SHIPALT), Installation and Checkouts (INCO), and System Grooms. Participated in Acceptance Trials, Inspection and Survey (INSURV), Combat System Ships Qualification Trials (CSSQT), Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) Tests, Planned Restricted Availability (PRAV), and Ship’s Restricted Availability (SRA) both in-port and underway. Provided troubleshooting, fault code interpretation, and built-in-test (BIT) result interpretation on-the-job training to USN operators during shipboard events. Received 7 Bravo Bronze Awards for outstanding support to the LAMPS MK III program.

Constructed, installed, tested, maintained, troubleshot, repaired, and overhauled various types of electrical, electronic, mechanical equipment, and related devices. Supervised the construction, installation of remote locations, and networking to the area master communication station. Performed complete communication center upgrades while maintaining full legacy capabilities. Fabricated and installed custom cabling onsite in accordance all regulations and standards. Assisted engineering staff with analysis of equipment design problems and identifying solutions for those problems.

Assumed the duties of the Lead Technician on Shore CUDIXS, LAMPS MK III Weapons System, and Miniature/ Microminiature Module Test and Repair. Conducted fault analysis and isolation in High Frequency (HF) to Super High Frequency (SHF) communications equipment using technical manuals, circuit and engineering diagrams, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other test measurement diagnostic equipment. Performed in-depth maintenance on data link communications systems and computer subsystems by calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting to the component level.
