Qualifications, connections, work, money, property and investment are no longer dependable steppingstones, if they ever were, to success and quality of life. They are equipment for a world which humans invented quite recently, and which will soon be historical as the real world reasserts itself.Similarly, the familiar methodologies of command and control are outmoded. There is still value in measurement, analysis, planning and incentives, but simply applying them like a scalpel to traditional objectives such as productivity, revenue, cost savings, profits and public perceptions is insufficient now, and again a paradigm of the world we are about to leave behind.But there are practices we can learn, qualities we can cultivate, and actions we can take that will make our participation in any circumstances we encounter more joyful, creative, contributory, formative and generative. These attributes necessarily have an individual and collective dimension. And they apply as much to local communities and businesses as to nation states and transnational enterprises. We will adapt, either consciously and responsively, or in a condition of alarm and bewilderment. My preference is for the former, and I find my involvements of the last few decades leave me better qualified to assist anyone interested in that process. This company is my vehicle for doing so.
