His focus is always on inspirational team leadership, corporate and client relationships, financial responsibility and innovative concept development and implementation.He is currently the Director of the Great Southern Universities Centre, a board member of Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and was the Vice-Chair of the Regional Universities Centre - National Advisory Committee and the WAAPA board.EDUCATIONALLYMike has a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Training, a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and an Advanced Diploma of Music. He was a member of the Western Australian Department of Culture and the Arts Peer Assessment Panel, The W.A. Music Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) and the Curriculum Council VET industry specific advisory group for secondary education. He has lectured in Song-writing, Music Production, Music Technology and Ensemble skills at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where he was the Head of Contemporary Music for 15 years. He has also lectured in Music Technology at the University of Western Australia. MUSICALLYMike is a Perth based Composer/ Arranger/ Producer who has written and produced numerous works for Television, Radio and Music Theatre, as well as hundreds of backings for live performances and recordings. He was an active Music Director staging many productions – mainly under the “Radio-Active” banner.
