Albany Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The Albany Chamber of Commerce (ACCI) is a not-for-profit, member driven proactive organisation providing professional services, cost-effective information and support for business. ACCI has been the voice of business in Albany and the Great Southern since 1892. ACCI receives no external funding for its day-to-day operations, and as a consequence can provide fully independent advice and assistance on a whole range of business activities and information. In addition, it can refer businesses on to other private and Government agencies for assistance including business planning, recruitment and training, financial, taxation and legal advice, sales and marketing, occupational health and safety information, statistics and strategic planning needs. The chamber is the voice of business; whether on behalf of individual members, as an industry group, or the business community as a whole. It is represented on numerous committees and boards to lobby and provide input into policy development and reviews. Further, ACCI’s alliance with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA) provides members with access to an extensive suite of business services. The chamber comprises a wide range of businesses and organisations representing a diverse number of industries, and its executive committee is voted for by its membership. The ACCI aims to be a leading example in the community. The ACCI’s new Collie Street offices set a bench mark in environmentally sustainable commercial design in Albany, with a minimal carbon footprint, utilising abundant natural light and ventilation, coupled with solar power generation and water harvesting. ACCI’s vision is that the Great Southern business community is vibrant, prosperous and sustainable.
