I believe communication has the ability to save any business. At 24 years old I’m an accomplished stand up comedian, online radio show host, a revolutionary, award winning speech & debate orator and Communication Studies Graduate. At 17 years old I developed strong social media marketing skills that landed me a spot in SF Weekly for event coordinating. In later years I transferred those social media techniques into promoting my stand up comedy along with bringing awareness to political protests. During my college experience I’ve learned that apathy is the great enemy of all artists and activists. All an artist, activist and public speaker want from their audience is for them to see life through their perspective. In my opinion the current political climate is a reflection of how apathetic humanity has become. My instagram account (@everybodylovezmike) has been dedicated to the same passion I studied in college. I am only passionate about dissolving the issues of humanity through speech and media, and I would love to work for an organization that focuses on uplifting people from across difference . My strong interpersonal skills have helped me win several awards in the Northern California Forensics Association, along with making the front page of San Francisco Chronicle for my stand up comedy and activism.I believe a speaker shouldn’t be judged on whether or not I agree with what their saying, but more so on the speaker's ability to engage the audience and the urgency of the topic. My quick success in comedy, event planning and activism have nothing in common other than my strong ability to relate and communicate a sense of urgency to my generation .
