Responsible for all Application and Transcription staff (48) along with a $9 million operating budget; managing implementations/support for Financial, Clinical, Integration, Home Care, DME and Transcription software. Member of Physician Advisory Committee (PAC) to assess/approve/implement strategic initiatives. Responsible for the overall migration of all system lifecycle activities for equipment and applications from the old facility to the new in 1.5 years. Major initiatives include Provider Based Billing, Coordinated EMPI (IBM Initiate) implementation, Meditech Upgrades (5.64 & 5.65), Coordinated implementation/attestation of Meaningful Use Stage 1and Iatric MU Dashboard, achieved Stage 6 HIMSS Analytics, conversion from Soft Lab to Meditech Lab, implementation of Merge CV system, Meditech CPOE, ED Tracker/100% Electronic documentation for all clinical areas, Voice Recognition, Single Sign On (Sentillion), Physician EMR (Next Gen, eClinical Works), Emdeon implementation, facilitating the transition from Softmed to Nuance Transcription (eScription) services; managed upgrades to Picis, Obix, Morrisey; beginning implementation of MCHC HIE, co-chair of Data Governance committee, developed/implemented PMO structure for the organization, established project/prioritization committee for both operational support and strategic planning; implemented Service Management structure to better support internal customers.

Responsible for developing IT strategic plan, managing the operation, assisting senior leadership in developing overall strategic plans to build both a clinical and physician strategy to support CPOE. Worked closely with Revenue Cycle, Nursing and Physician Steering Committees to assess current operations and develop strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiencies, increase revenues and reduce costs.

Responsible for managing the IT operations at each of the 6 hospitals, 25 locations for Home Health and Senior Services and Bio Med at all locations. We worked collaboratively with the corporate IT staff to implement standard functionality where applicable and support strategic initiatives across the enterprise
