As a private consultant advised companies and supported Supply Chain transformations. Developed S&OP process improvements for the demand planning, supply planning, gap closure, executive review and Sales and Operations Execution sub-processes for a global automotive supplier. Included were customized process diagrams, process descriptions, role descriptions including responsibility, accountability, support, inform, and consult (RASIC) and training requirements, Technology requirements. Also included were the time phased improvement initiatives required to achieve the process requirements.

Led cross-BU team in benchmarking and stakeholder engagement in cross enterprise Supply Chain standardization which resulted in establishing Supply Chain Center of ExcellenceCollaborated with cross-BU team and Gartner to communicate end-end supply chain concepts. Achieved agreement at enterprise leadership level to focus maturity improvements across end-end supply chain. Instituted world class maturity framework and standards across supply chain strategy, segmentation and planning areas. Resulted in a standard approach for aligning BU strategies to supply chain capabilities, network design and full alignment to sales and operations planning. Developed and implemented supply chain maturity assessment methodology which was successfully tested in 4 supply chains across 3 continents. Created methodology to build a business case for maturity improvements. The first implementation led to a roadmap to improve the EBIT for the supply chain by 3% of revenue. Led relationship and benchmarking with Gartner, MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, and APICS/SCOR.

Set up and developed Supply Chain groups and processes worldwide for $8 B Power Solutions (Battery) Division. Supported 10 – 100% sales growth in each region. Process Owner for Forecast to Plan process. Implemented standard Supply Chain processes across all regions.Managed global supply and demand imbalances and allocation processes which maintained sales growth in developing markets while introducing new technologies. Trained and developed new business and supply chain leaders globally which enabled effective global communication to plan and execute product supply to customers. Established cross enterprise Sales and Operations planning with key suppliers that resulted in higher service levels at lower costs for the suppliers and for JCI. Led Global Procurement function (2010/2011).Established Network Strategies and Optimization in Europe which resulted in a 10% freight reduction.
