I'm the Head of Comms and Marketing at The Film and TV Charity, a UK-based organisation that supports the mental health and financial wellbeing of people working in the film and TV sector. With a clear understanding of the issues facing workers in the screen industries, we adopt an evidence-led approach to making work better for the 200,000+ people creating film and TV, promoting greater inclusion, healthier working practices and culture. We work in partnership with, and with the support of, all the leading broadcasters, studios and indies from right across the sector. With a background in film and entertainment PR and journalism, I have more than 10 years of experience in leading communications and marketing strategies for industry organisations and groups, such as BASE, Digital Entertainment Group Europe, and The Industry Trust for IP Awareness, managing complex stakeholder relationships and building new partnerships to deliver sector-wide engagement with consumer, corporate, and third sector campaigns.My core competencies include corporate and consumer-facing integrated comms and marketing campaigns, crisis comms planning, agency and stakeholder management, project and talent management, event planning and PR, promotions and third-party partnerships.
