**Environmental Educator & Community Advocate | Global Semiconductor Manufacturing Leader | Advocate for Sustainability & Empowerment | Advisory Board Member, Tempe Salvation Army | MBA, University of Phoenix**With a Chemical Engineering degree from Michigan State, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and 27 years in the high technology arena of semiconductor manufacturing, my career with Motorola and Onsemi was marked by international living and working as part of and managing teams that solved complex problems. In charge of state-of-the-art processes, equipment, and products, I oversaw several wafer fab startups, including cleanroom design, factory layout, construction, equipment selection, facilities hook up, staffing, training, factory startup, capital budgeting, and operations management. I led operators, technicians, and engineers worldwide, leading new technology transfers and optimizing processes for yield improvement and profitability.After experiencing the world and seeing it as a small place, I found myself feeling detached from my local community. A desire to connect led me to a new phase in my life, where I built and sold a Water and Fire Damage Restoration business in Arizona, serving over 5000 homes and businesses throughout Maricopa County. This local endeavor brought me closer to the community I love.Further embracing lifelong learning, I recently completed fellowship training in Precision Medicine, the "Genomic Master Program - Functional Genomics Certification," and a Coursera Course Certificate in "Careers in Sustainability." I will soon be certified as an Environmental Educator through the AAEE and NAAEE.Today, I serve on the Advisory Board of the Tempe Salvation Army, Substitute Teach in Tempe Union High School District, and volunteer with Arizona Sustainability Alliance. My passions are guided by health optimization, biohacking, regenerative agriculture, and Urban Farming, with a strong commitment to Environmental Education and Sustainability.Driven by a belief that the most important generation is the next generation, I aim to foster a spirit of hope, empowerment, and a love for STEM right here locally.
