Due to the ever-changing demands of a busy e-commerce business, I have adapted to fit various roles over my years of employment at Limitless Digital.After a successful period as a Front End developer delivering creative solutions and high-quality UI developments, the opportunity arose to join the UX design team. The role required me to use my development skills along with creative flair to create UX solutions inline with marketing plans, conversion targets and sales targets.Having worked in the UX team for over a year I was then promoted to the role of Senior Designer. This is an exciting and demanding role and I have a broad range of responsibilities.As a Senior Designer, I am required to implement marketing material on websites using HTML and CSS and also been responsible for creating and coding A/B Test Solution‎s.I regularly assume team leader responsibilities in the absence of the Design Manager, maintaining promotional schedules, prioritising team-work and communicating with other departments to provide the successful progression of on-going tasks.I am also required to produce marketing materials for use across websites, email campaigns, blogs, social media and affiliates and this often includes product image retouching and lifestyle creation.I frequently attend meetings to discuss and analyse the design requirements of various projects and tasks.My responsibilities also include keeping up to date with design standards and best practice through educational opportunities and competitor market research while maintaining and updating branding standards and guidelines.

I was therefore required to do some PHP and backend work.The Magento eCommerce platform also gave me the opportunity to further expand my skills. Completing the 'Core Principles for Theming in Magento' course was an important part of the role and a great opportunity to progress.The role required the building and maintenance of Wordpress sites for blogs and some small brochure sites. These sites were primarily looked after by the Front End team.I was also required to ensure good quality delivery and fix any issues raised by the test and support team.Creating a good product also involved liaising with members of the strategic business teams.
