Data Architect for iWave Information Systems. Responsible for the entire data ecosystem, from servers, software and security to ETL processes, reliability of data, up-time and availability for the product. I ingest about 7TB of data monthly, using C#, PHP, MariaDB, Sphinx and many other tools such as GitLab, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, many linters, and full PR/MR pipeline to ensure that all code is valid.We are currently working on an AWS transformation of our entire system to the cloud using many components of AWS, with myself focusing on Elastic Search (100+ nodes over multiple clusters), Aurora (multiple clusters and replicas), Data Lakes (by product line), Cloud Formation, TypeScript, Painless, Python and other tools as required for our transition.It's been a very busy and exciting year for our product and we hope our clients will see the difference with the massive amount of work that has been done to date.
