Mike has extensive experience in the Australian utility and industrial sector, including 15 years at Executive Management levels.He has extensive experience in leadership, large program and project delivery, robotics and engineering, regulatory and structural reform of critical infrastructure services in both regulated and competitive markets, with particular expertise in leadership, project delivery, asset management, energy, water, telecommunications and construction sectors.Mike is the Managing Director of the Fulcrum Group of companies, CEO of Commercial consultancy Fulcrum Commercial and Robotics company Fulcrum Robotics he is a non-executive Director and Deputy Chair of the Mosaic Support Services, and member of the Finance and Risk Committee. He is a Member of Engineers Australia, Australian Institute of Company Directors. From 2009 to 2014 he held a number of executive positions in Aurora Energy Pty Ltd, an energy utility with interests in electricity distribution, generation, telecommunications retail and gas supply. Accountability for the establishment, commercialization and ongoing operation of Aurora's Telecoms Carrier "AuroraCom" and the construction of Stage 1 & Stage 2 NBN FTTP networks in Tasmania. Delivered,- long term strategic Telecoms Partnership with the Tasmanian State Government. - profitable telecoms services agreement with Tas State Government.- long term, profitable inter-capital back haul agreements with Basslink Pty Ltd. - long term exclusive right to commercialize TasGovNet statewide optical transit network.- Tasmanian Research Education Network (TREN)- commercialized Auroras on island telecoms assets.Reporting to the Aurora and the NBN Tas Boards.
