I have been living in Istanbul since 2007 working as an English language instructor and I love it. During this time I have proof read and edited several articles, essays and presentations for a large number of clients and students. Before this, I was in Sevilla, Spain teaching English. In both locations, my students have been mainly in professional, upper management positions.Before this stage of my life, I lived in Sheffield, England, originally as a student studying for a Masters Degree in International Relations from 1994-95. After completing this degree, I studied for a PhD in Politics and began teaching in the Politics Department. However, by 2000, I became disenchanted with academic life and gained employment in the private sector with Royal Mail. After five stressful years working in a ruthless, back-stabbing environment, I took time off to decide what would be exciting and rewarding work, and here I am!I was born and raised in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada. I studied History and Political Science at Simon Fraser University in Canada. It was at this time, I started to travel a lot and I became fascinated with Europe. Thus, I made full use of my European Union passport and went to the UK to attend university. I still like to travel around Europe as often as I can!
