Mike Lock serves as one of the JRMA Structural Engineering Principals and brings over 33 years of professional experience in structural engineering, design and construction. He specializes in the design of multi-story steel platforms, heavy industrial equipment platforms and foundations, manufacturing and low-rise office buildings, new/retrofitted tilt-up buildings, blast resistant tilt-up concrete, and pre-stressed reinforced concrete pressure vessels. Mr. Lock contributes vast experience in food processing plants, commercial and industrial buildings, manufacturing and process plants, refineries, and power generating stations which enables him to manage highly complex projects. A licensed Structural Engineer in the State of California, he is an expert at building analyses utilizing RISA-3D and RAM Structural System, as well as developing reports for earthquake damaged structures, deteriorated buildings, and construction defect litigation. Following the 1994 Northridge earthquake, he was engaged with a number of Industry professionals to repair and retrofit multi-story, wood-frame buildings.
