The Director of Public Policy and Economic Analysis (PPEA) has primary responsibility for developing and advancing the RadNet regulatory analysis and public policy response, as well as developing and administering the RadNet public policy advocacy program. The PPEA works directly with RadNet Executive Management to inform and guide on public policy initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities:- Monitor, review and analyze the impact of regulatory rules- Advise and coordinate the response to regulatory requests for information or comment- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on regulation, especially related to reimbursements and similar areas - Engage with regulators to provide education and context on relevant topics - Develop and implement an advocacy plan that includes industry stakeholder engagement, and state and federal legislator outreach- Investigate and recommend value based payment models including forecasting of economic outcomes- Educate and support the Executive Management team in advocacy activities - Educate management teams in various RadNet departments on the economic impact of regulatory and legislative events - Serve on industry committees on behalf of RadNet

• Provided executive leadership and strategic direction for an association with 2,300members, staff of 12 and an annual budget of $2.5 million• Responsible for financial management, association governance and board policies, human resources and personnel and administrative functions; supervised education, membership, communications, corporate development and research• Created RBMA’s advocacy program with federal agencies, Congress and commercial insurers; monitored issues, organized Congressional and agency meetings, and developed positions and responses on relevant topics• Served as Director of the Radiology Coding Certification Board• Co-chaired the Imaging e-Ordering Coalition whose provider and vendor members promote the successful adoption of electronic ordering for imaging and the use of clinical decision support (CDS) to foster the appropriate use of imaging• Respected speaker and writer on healthcare policy and legislative developmentspertaining to radiology
