I am a Consultant in Palliative Medicine with experience working in community, hospital and hospice in-patient settings. I have worked in Scotland, England and Wales and understand the variations in healthcare policy and legislation as it relates to healthcare in each of these regions.I am an experienced researcher, having completed a MSc degree in Palliative Medicine from Cardiff University and authored and co-authored publications in international peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as presented original research at national and international conferences. I have also peer-reviewed journal articles for Palliative Medicine journal. I co-founded the first Palliative Medicine trainee-led research collaborative.I have developed teaching programs for undergraduate students and healthcare professionals, and regularly teach undergraduate medical students.
