I'm a Houston based UX Designer with a Graphic and Web Design foundation. I'm interested in understanding design problems and using experience, resourcefulness, and empathy to design helpful user experiences.Highlights:▪ Tackled design problems by creating deliverables including visual mockups, iconography, interaction prototypes, feature & component style guides, and specification documents for 4 of IHS digital products.▪ Created and managed design assets, client communication and project timelines for new and existing clients to ensure the highest quality of work possible.▪ Created client directed designs with feedback from the ground up, as well as following provided company brand guidelines.▪ Using my skills in Graphic, Web and Motion Design I conceptualized and executed the new brand identity for Blindspot Tactical, which included website design, branding, photography and video assets.▪ Worked proficiently with industry standard design tools such as Adobe CC and web languages such as HTML, CSS, with some basic Javascript knowledge. On my career journey I found my direction working as a Visual Designer in UX and I’ve learned how design has the power to change peoples minds and steer their behavior. I’ve seen how design can evoke a range of emotions from happiness and warmth to disgust and indifference, and I will continue working towards producing great design aesthetics in my projects. Building on these skills towards a UX Designer position has allowed me to utilize data research, strategy, user needs and empathy to dictate which direction my design takes. I’m amazed at the state of advancing technology and it excites me to think about how I could use my previous experiences to shape your next project.I think that’s a good start.
