As a research assistant I was primarily responsible for simulations of particle interactions. In particular I used scientific computing to model the efficiency of a lithium fluoride target in one of the facilities accelerators. I also worked on improving some of the algorithms involved with the pulse-powered accelerator.

I served as a math tutor for the math center at the Student Success Center. Basically a student could bring their homework in to a large room equipped with study tables and whiteboards.
