Mike has been involved in Industrial Automation Sales for over 30 years and has been responsible for supporting Siemens Automation products as the local first level technical support for over 17 years. He is responsible for sales and support for the full Eddy Group IAC Division product line for Nova Scotia and PEI Eddy Group Branches and for advanced application support for all EGL branches. Mike is very active in industry in Atlantic Canada and teaches several automation related courses through Eddy Group including Introduction to PLC Programming with TIA Portal and Application and Troubleshooting Modern Variable Speed Drives. Mike has been a judge and coach for the NSCC Mechatronics Skills competition for many years and is a member of NSCC's Program Advisory Council for the Electrical Engineering program.Mike is an experienced photographer in his free time. Although he recently retired after more than 8 years as the staff photographer for the Maritime Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and the track photographer at Scotia Speedworld, he continues to pursue his other photographic interests. He has been actively involved with the Halifax Photography Society, where Mike was a founding member and spent many years on the executive, Mike also spent several years on the executive of the Photographic Guild of Nova Scotia. He teaches workshops in both Photoshop and Lightroom and recently co-hosted two seasons of a photography based educational television show through local community TV called The Big Picture and has been published in a countless newspapers, magazines and web sites around the world.
