Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify new technologies, industry trends, and growth opportunities for ENMAX and its customers.

• Responsible for overseeing a team of 7 design engineers and EITs, including mentoring and developing new-graduate hires.• Accountable for multi-million-dollar substation protection and design programs for key utility customers; including Medium and High Voltage protection systems, and equipment design reviews and approvals.• Preparing project quotes, schedules, budgets and proposals for projects valued up to $10M including master design services agreements, utilizing a strong understanding of commercial terms, contract management, and client relations.• Resource management, including coordination of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and monitoring time, cost, and quality.• Implemented a new project and quality management process which improved project turnaround time by 20% and reduced project costs by up to 40% (from 2017-2018).• Proven and effective leadership, conflict management, and change management.• Coordinated the opening of a satellite office in Edmonton.• APEGA Responsible Member under ENMAX’s Professional Practice Management Plan.

• Developed and approved detailed design packages for substation transmission and distribution protection upgrade projects.• Was the Lead Engineer on a high-speed static transfer switch design and installation project – the first of its’ kind in Canada – for a key commercial customer, gaining experience with Canadian Electrical Code.• Worked on power utility upgrade projects.• Created safety-focused work plans for field crews and external service providers.• Promoted to Supervisor position in 2017 in recognition of excellence in leadership abilities, initiative and project management skills.

• Developed high level and detailed design packages for transmission and distribution protection upgrade projects.• Collaborated effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and field services, to establish project goals and determine practical work plans to achieve them.• Procured materials and supported field teams in executing projects on strict timelines and budgets.• Prepared quotes and proposals related to RFPs and RFQs for both construction and design projects.

Joined the ENMAX EIT program, spending 10 months rotating through different areas of the company. This program included rotations in Substation Design, Network Distribution and Planning, and power plant operations as an instrumentation and controls engineer.

Worked as an Applications Officer handling regulatory applications for transmission, distribution, and generation projects all over Alberta.
