MCR Pathways is a national, award-winning mentoring programme whose vision is that every care-experienced young person, or those who have experienced disadvantage, gets the same education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as every other young person.I spend an hour a week on site during term time with my young person, building our relationship, helping them identify and understand their own potential and goals, to build plans to achieve these goals and then help them make it happen. It's a massively rewarding way to make a difference.

Alsop Lawrie Ltd, (“All Design”) is a new architecture and design practice set up by Will Alsop and Scott Lawrie, and is devised as an interdisciplinary design studio working in all scales of design & cultural endeavour.The practice has global experience and can deliver through offices in Toronto, Chongqing and London. Secured initial funding and put the necessary procedures and controls in place.

RMJM is a leading global, top ten design and architecture practice with over 1,000 staff and turnover in excess of £100M. RMJM Europe is the European business with studios in UK, Russia, and Turkey and operations in Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. RMJM Europe currently employs 270 staff and has a turnover of c£25M. Recruited to the newly created FD position to provide finance experience, leadership and strengthen the management team. Quickly gained an understanding of the business and developed strong relationships with key principals and directors. Added value and demonstrated Finance as a value added, rather than transactional, function. Assumed the role of Operations Director in the absence of a regional MD between October 2009 and April 2010.

AMBS is the facilities arm of Alfred McAlpine plc. Joined AMBS in November 2005 to provide financial support to the £250M turnover Facilities Management Operations business. Initially recruited as Operations Finance Director, promoted to the newly created Group Financial Controller position as part of the intended transition to a separate plc, with responsibility for leading, structuring and resourcing shared services, tax, audit and risk, treasury and accounting and financial reporting.

Stockland is Australia's leading diversified property group with assets across the country. A market capitalisation of A$7.5 billion places it in the Australian Stock Exchange top 30 (May 2005). Initially recruited as Group Finance Manager with responsibility for Management & Financial Reporting, Shared Services and Administration. Promoted to Group Financial Controller in September 2004.

The Miller Group is the UK’s largest privately owned house- building, property development and construction services company. Miller Construction is the construction services and deal assembly business operating throughout the UK.Following a six month secondment from Arthur Andersen, joined Miller Construction as Financial Controller, reporting directly to the Managing Director.Responsible for financial control and IT provision within the business, as well as providing both financial and general commercial support to the MD and senior management. Joined the Board as Finance Director in July 1999.
