Providing IT services such as, PC Repair, Network Administration, Business Modernization, and Marketing just to name a few. I normally fill the space in medium and small sized businesses that need IT Support, but don't want someone in the office all the time nor the money to pay for that time. I love helping customers better understand technology and the possible benefits for their work environment.

I was responsible for monitoring and reporting on network conditions. Making server, workstation, and office equipment purchases, also it is my responsibility to install and configure the equipment. I also have to document the changes and processes that are made to the systems so that an environment exist where someone else can come behind me and perform some task that are not considered to be standard. I manage active directory and exchange. Also complete everyday server repair and upgrades and perform research on new technologies to stay in line with the IT industry.

I was responsible for the Baltimore metro area, Installing and troubleshooting PC and Network equipment. Completed wireless networks with up 35 PC's in multiple buildings. I installed POS systems in FairLanes bowling alley's using Dell equipment including servers. I was a Sr. Tech, meaning if other techs ran into problems or couldn't complete a job I was next to go out and solve the problem. A lot of the time I repaired Dell laptops and PC's down to component level.

Maintain and perform trouble shooting for 7 buildings and over 3,000 users and their equipment including networking issues - Also resolved Network Administration problems MS Exchange email problems and administered user accounts on the domain - Conduct the installation and troubleshooting of hubs, routers, network printers, switches and wireless LAN equipment - Handle over the phone support to users in the field that dial into the network to do work and also access email. The installation and setup of Windows 2000 under a domain server, administered user accounts and passwords in Windows 2000 Server across the network. Also did trouble shooting of windows 2000 with services, drivers, and other issues - Deployed software changes and driver updates across the network using Altiris and also performed remote hard drive imaging procedures on a large number of systems using network protocol. PC and Laptop repairs were also in my scope of work at Ciena.

Set up network system for 7 users with a server and two network printers -Administered and developed inventory control system - Responsible for Training on windows NT and 95 platform using different applications - Repaired and replaced parts on equipment such as PC's and printers - Provided over the phone and on site tech support for the Unit resolving application and network problems in a Windows 95, NT and MS Office. Performed all hardware changes and performed trouble shooting on hard drives, motherboards, CD drives, ROMS, etc. Assembled and reassembled PC's starting from empty cases.
