- Managed up to 1,150 acres for Zirkle Fruit Company (625 acres of Organic apples, 134 acres of cherries, 122 acres conventional apples)- Consulted with Phytech and integrated Phytech’s software with Phytech’s 1st full automation irrigation system on 881 acres. - Perfected tree row volume (TRV) spray calibrations. - Developed custom fertilizer program using Sap Analysis specifically for 61 different orchard blocks. - Replanted several hundreds of acres of orchard. - Designed and oversaw instillation of 881 acres of state-of-the-art orchard irrigation system. - Created the modern fog overhead cooling systems. - Successfully managed overhead cooling on cherries for last 10 years. - Developed irrigation stress parameters for Honeycrisp and Cosmic Crisp apples. - Consulted on the design of two 13,000,000-gallon irrigation ponds and familiar with large irrigation wells and large river pump systems. - Designed and built bird net and shade covers for apple and cherry blocks. - Implemented liquid pollen for cherries. - Planned and managed the successful planting of 36,000 trees in 12 hours. - Managed the planting and digging of apple nursery trees. - Planted some of first G-41 roots in the state of Washington.- Grafted 130 acres of Honeycrisp. - Consulted with FieldIn to help create the maintenance module. - Built one of best supervisor and field teams in the USA. - Developed harvesting cherries and apples at night. - Managed several hundred H2A workers. - Utilized Semios CM&LR platform. - First to implement the Infaco tying machines into tree fruit. - Utilized Bin Bandit platforms. - Communicated effectively with company employees and stakeholders. - Picked, packed and direct marketed 600 tons of peaches.- Managed entertainment farming for 10 years. - Built furniture and kitchen cabinets for 23 years. - Built my own custom home and designed and oversaw the building of a second home later in life. - Shop mechanic for 10 years. - Operated and managed excavation equipment. - Dad of two awesome daughters.
