A warm welcome from Mike and Allie, an everyday blended family of 7! Like many people in their 40’s, we have found ourselves starting over...in work, in finances, in love and in life. It has proven to be a challenge to find a work-life balance that reflects our goals and dreams.Allie spent 14 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist and is now working as an Emergency Telecommunications Operator and 911 Dispatcher, working 12 hour shifts. Mike works hard on the daily grind of the Monday to Friday 8-4 schedule. These conflicting schedules pose a challenge to family life as well as our quality of life.Our goal is to take the reigns and start heading toward the life of our choosing. We have just begun this exciting journey of owning our own digital business, with the support of an unmatched community. We dream big and are geared up for infinite success.Flipping convention on its head is scary for sure - but the way we see it, is that if convention is failing us, then NOT taking a calculated leap of faith and move in a new direction is even scarier! Nothing changes if nothing changes.After watching the webinar, we spent time looking around the private Facebook group, reading about others’ stories, successes and challenges. What we found was a group 35,000 strong that was filled with support, encouragement and positivity. It was at that point that we made the decision to follow through and we haven’t looked back. Our future is bright, and we welcome all of the other everyday families to join us in taking control and opening up the possibilities of what our lives can really be like.
