Michael is an entrepreneur who has excelled in the technology space for over 35 years, resulting in numerous ventures and subsequent acquisitions in Wireless Mobile Technology, and the Health Care Technology Industry .His career started in 1986 with Sharp Electronics Corporation to help launch the company’s first U.S. Fax Division. In his 12 year tenure, he built a team of highly skilled B2B salespeople along with developing a Dealer Distribution Channel for the company. The division grew rapidly with over $300 million in annual revenue and was promoted to VP of Sales for the Southeast. After a successful career, he resigned from Sharp in 1998 to pursue his true passion and started his own company; Nexstar Inc. Nexstar was the first Exclusive Sales and Service Center in the southeast for Nextel Communications. Nexstar quickly grew to become one of Nextel’s top performing wireless dealers in the country with multiple locations. He served two terms on the Nextel National Dealer Advisory Council from 2001-2004. In 2012 and after a successful venture, Mike sold Nexstar.He is a Founding Member and Member of Board of Directors of MobileQubes where he lends his business expertise to the emerging technology startup. MobileQubes is launching a national network of self-automated kiosks in late 2014 that allow customers to rent and return compact battery “Qubes” and continue charging and using their devices on-the-go.In January 2016, Mike became Louisiana's first Franchise Owner for UbreakiFix. The Company specializes in repair of all Apple, Android and Smartphone products. Including tablets, computers and everything in between. Cracked screens, water damage, software issues, etc... UbreakiFix operates over 600 locations across the U.S. and in Canada. Mike is an active member in both the technology and entrepreneur community. He is a member of the Wireless Power Consortium, CTIA, and also an active Angel Investor and member in South Coast Angel Fund.
