At long last I am in a sales role in the same industry I was operations manager for the entire country for the better part of a year, and west/north regional manager prior to that. Supply on demand nitrogen and hydrogen to refineries and pipeline customers. All major refiners. Minus 320 to 700 degrees fahrenheit. Nitrogen is used to purge process reactors and pipelines to remove product or eliminate flammability range in order to safely work on reactors or associated piping. Also used for pressure / leak testing.Hydrogen is used with a catalyst to change hydrocarbon molecules into various refined components like gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and propane to name a few. Also used to reduce (remove oxides) new catalyst prior to unit coming back on line.
