Sales Territory Manager. Managing new and existing accounts for the Albany, Ga. Terminal and the Georgia points for the Tallahassee terminal. Sales involved LTL, T/L, and the Dedicated Division, including Pricing, CRM, Salesforce, and proper Sales Territory cycle sales calls. Operations included backup to the terminal management and dispatch.

Responsible for establishing and managing all operations for a custom distribution warehouse for Georgia Pacific Corp. This involved a 24 hour operation, 3 shifts, handling customer specific truckloads, segregating multiple inventories, and implementing new warehouse processes, IE BVP Implementation, cycle counts, customer requests and strict inventory control. This position also included responsibility for the Albany Clark Avenue Warehouse Complex.

Employment began with American Freightways and helped to open the Albany terminal in 1992, when AF expanded their operations to Georgia. I handled Terminal Manager / Sales until 1996 and then assumed the full time duties of Account Manager. Continued to assist in operations as the Albany Terminal became a training facility for Terminal Managers. Received the Star Award for conducting weekly P&D Driver Sales Training Classes.Initiated the cross operational sales calls with FedEx Services/Ground/Pkg sales, which later became a company initiative/requirement. As Sales Account Manager I was responsible for managing the account base, selling to meet maeket needs, and new corporate initiatives. I also assisted in training other regional Account Managers in FedEx Sales.com, which was the sales management system for reporting, time management, and productive call cycling.

Started as Terminal Manager/Sales Combo at the Albany terminal. I then helped with initiating the Quality Improvement Process Training teaching at the terminal, then regional training for South Georgia and Florida terminals, leading to the promotion to the corporate level of Director of Training. As Director of Training i developed the 52 Week Training Program for future leadership at the Terminal and Corporate levels. As Director of Quality I managed this important improvement process, developing the Internal Quality Audits, assisting the terminals in the continued pursuit of improvement at their terminals. Finally as Director of Loss Prevention, I was part of the team assisting in bringing the claims system on line, which provided corrective action measurements and improvement of the cargo claims function. The Claims Audit was developed to help the terminals in the areas of compliance, freight damage, and claims prevention.
