Responsible for all ABPI regulatory activities in relation to manufacturing, GMP, Quality, Environment, Environmental sustainability, pharmaceuticals in the environment and Health & Safety and coordination of the ABPI Groups and Networks overseeing these areas of interest From 2006, active, contributing member of various Groups responsible for these issues within the European Trade Association for the R&D based pharma industry, EFPIA. Chair of the EFPIA EHS Network 2009-2013. Areas of activity in respect of the above include:- Coordination of ABPI activity into quality and GMP aspects of Brexit negotiations including representation of ABPI and EFPIA at the UK and European level in discussions with regulators- Development of industry strategy on environmental aspects of AMR - Member of BSi/CEN/ISO Expert Committees on pharmaceutical packaging in relation to child resistance, Braille and tamper evidence standards- Co-chair (2010-2014) and ongoing member of the European Inter Association Initiative Task Force on pharmaceuticals in the environment- Member of MHRA Consultation Committee on GMP

A variety of roles undertaken during this time including technical writing, regulatory support, pharmaceutical advertising scrutiny, conference programme coordination (most notably European Education Advisor, ISPE, 1993-1995)
