Director of Meetings & Events for OMG, Inc. encompassing OMG’s flagship Standards Development Organization (SDO) as well as their half dozen Consortia and Managed Communities focused on IoT, Digital Twin, Responsible Computing, Augmented Reality, Software Quality, and Healthcare. Mike drives the development, coordination, and implementation of its world-wide consortia meeting activities such as technical and member meetings, summits, workshops, information days, and user groups, providing RFP, budget forecasting, contract negotiations, promotions and logistical support, including registration, website content, speaker engagement, vendor and staff management, and related activities. In addition, Mike supports the OMG sales and marketing teams with member acquisition and retention.

Led the development and execution of marketing activities as well as general support for the OMG marketing department. Duties included the development and management of event and program related web pages, marketing tools, and email campaigns, along with the distribution of marketing collateral on-site at events and within third party trade promotions; measurement of program results; negotiation and management of third-party event co-op promotions.
