As the Head of Cyber Crime Investigations at the City of London Police's Cyber Crime Unit I bring a wealth of experience in leading and bringing together teams of investigators to tackle cyber crime threats facing London, the United Kingdom and overseas. I have a proven track record within law enforcement in delivering a holistic approach to investigation that not only pursues criminals, but also blends it with disruptive tactics and focuses on prevention. I am able to achieve this across a variety of crime types, both in the UK and overseas.I am highly skilled in Cyber Crime, Open Source Intelligence, Criminal Investigations, Computer Forensics, Data Analysis, Network Investigations, Cloud Computing, Malware Analysis, Penetration Testing, Ethical Hacking, Cryptocurrency Investigations and Communications Data Analysis.I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Forensic Computing and Cyber Crime Investigation from University College Dublin. I am also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security Professionals. I am particularly proud of being one of the few individuals within law enforcement to hold the cyber security industry coveted Offence Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.I have a particular interest in problem solving, data analysis, threat identification, leadership, partnership working, crisis management and incident response. I am also an experienced Public Order officer. As a Police Support Unit (PSU) and a Bronze Commander, I lead teams of officers through protests, events and other large scale incidents. This is a physically demanding role, requiring a high level of fitness, which I have worked hard to maintain throughout my career.
