I began my career in 1990 as an estimator and project manager with a Calgary-based paving company. In 1999, I joined Volker Stevin, working on key projects that improved Calgary and surrounding areas, including paved lane projects for The City of Calgary and subdivision work in Airdrie, Okotoks and other towns throughout southern Alberta. While working in Calgary, I began managing more complex projects with larger teams, establishing myself as a leader dedicated to providing high-quality projects on time and on budget.In 2012, I was given the opportunity to oversee the team at McNally Contractors after it was acquired by Volker Stevin Canada. Since then, I have led our more than 160 employees through significant projects and internal processes while focusing on health, safety and sustainability. As a leader, I strive to balance exceeding the employees’ needs while ensuring our processes align with our parent companies, Volker Stevin Canada and VolkerWessels. Throughout our history, McNally Contractors has maintained its family feel, where everyone looks out for one another and works diligently to contribute to our overall success. This focus on our team has created an environment where employees dedicate themselves to providing high-quality, community-focused projects for each of our clients and partners.
