Project Team Leader, Second Water & Sanitation Project For Low Income CommunitiesMinistry Of Health, Indonesia Jan 2004 - Dec 2010Jakarta, IndonesiaThe Project Team Leader provided project management services to support the Central Project Management Unit (CPMU) within the Ministry of Health, Directorate General of Disease Control and Environmental Health with all aspects of project implementation. The contract with the , Ministry of Health extended to December 2010, but on an intermittent basis (50% of time) from November 2009.WSLIC-2 was a World Bank and Australian Government funded initiative with the objectives of improving the health status, productivity and quality of life of poor communities in under served rural villages in project provinces. The project covered eight provinces of East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, West Java, West Sumatra, South Sumatra and Kepulauan Bangka-Belitung and the total target was 2000 villages for five years implementation.The Project Team Leader (PTL) advised, supported and assisted the Central Project Management Unit and the MOH WSLIC-2 Commitment Maker (Project Manager) to manage and coordinate the overall project activities. Two separate consultant teams also supported the CPMU in its role. These were the Technical Consultant (TC) and Management Consultant (MC) sub-teams each of which had specific responsibilities under separate TOR and separate contracts. The MC and TC sub-team leaders were responsible to the PTL in relation to the technical aspects of their assignment.
