Hardworking, driven and resilient. After being rejected for years for numerous sales jobs in the medical/ scientific field, I started Colonial Scientific Inc.. I began in the stereotypical fashion of working out of my apartment with no employees, bootstrapping the company from its beginning in 2002. Today it is one of the larger privately held Lab and Scientific supply companies in the country. We service customers in all 50 states and several countries. I handle the sales and customer service side of the business and my brother Paul is the President of the company and runs the business/ operations side of the company. We sell over 1,000,000 items thru our website and catalogs to government agencies, municipalities, schools and private industry.I grew up in Utica NY and moved down to Virginia to attend VCU. I have been here ever since. I am trying to balance my work life with a little more peripheral activities. I was a competitive runner a few years (and many pounds) ago. I finished 1st in the Richmond Marathon 5 miler and 2nd in the marathon many years ago. I would like to start competing in age group competitions in the coming years.I am optimistic and industrious. I truly enjoy waking up and going to work each day. I love competing against other people and companies in our market space. My goal is to grow Colonial Scientific into a publicly traded company and market leader.
