Mike, raised in the San Ramon Valley and a graduated from California High School in San Ramon before getting his BA from San Francisco State University. He has lived in the East Bay for over 20+ years where he currently resides with his wife and 2 sons. San Francisco Bay Area

Established the procedures associated with the operations department. This included the management of appraisal orders, interfacing with third-parties (including realtors, appraisers and customers). Created sales strategies that expand the company focus. Developed new products to bring in new revenue as well as streamline appraisal process for clients. Responsible for ordering appraisals, correspondence with appraisers and clients, creating invoices for clients and appraisers, billing inquires, and resolving any escalated issues. Continuously exceeded customer expectations in report turn times, quality of work provided and customer satisfaction. Involved in the recruitment and hiring of new employees. Trained and/or supervised approximately ten to fifteen employees.

As an assistant with the facilities department at Blue Shield of California my responsibilities included working directly with management, as well as a Senior Facilities Coordinator. I processed work orders in the system promptly, and attended to all of them in a timely manor. I set-up conference rooms, cubicles, offices and was in charge of all inter-office moves, which included communication with moving companies and construction companies. I had access to all areas of the building and worked confidentially with the facilities team.

As executive assistant for Blue Shield of California my responsibilities were to coordinate inter office moves, process requisition requests as well as invoices, and deal directly with numerous vendors. I assisted several directors with correspondence, phone calls, scheduling meetings, light filing, data entry faxing and copying. I used Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word on a daily basis.
