As a Senior DevOps and Release Engineer in Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) organization, I drive the delivery of the fast-paced, on-time and automated releases for Oracle's Next Generation Contact Center (NGCC), which is Oracle's Global "Call/Contact Center" (using the Genesys Contact Center Software).I drive the fast delivery of the releases, its critical readiness and major milestones for multiple global Oracle teams such as Development, DevOps, Quality Assurance, Operations, Change Management, Infrastructure, System Administrator, Network Administrator, Database Administrator, Support, Project Management, Business Analyst, Security Management, Management Team, and the External Vendors.My responsibilities include driving the plans and assessing the risk of these complex releases for multiple tiers, prioritization and decision making, gathering the release scope (stories and defects), creating the roadmap and cadences for multiple categories of patches, leading and managing the scheduled releases and emergency releases, across the multiple service environments (Dev/Test/Prod) and sites through the full agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases, gathering and analyzing the release metrics, and maintaining and publishing the release change calendar, and attending the daily CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to communicate the high risk/high impact changes, publishing the multiple release dashboards, preparing the release readiness, and publishing the release communications, status reports and alerts, and driving continuous release improvement, and creating, updating and running the Jenkins Projects Release DevOps Pipeline.The DevOps, Release, Planning and Change Management tools used include Jenkins, Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, Shell Scripts, Python, SQL and MS Excel.Additionally my Senior IT Management includes Release, Support, QA & Integration for Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Change Management, Access/Provisioning & Network Access
