Since leaving college in 2008 I made a conscious decision to go straight to work and gain experience as I went along in my journey. I joined Nationwide Building Society the same year and can say that I'm a proud employee of theirs for now over 10 years. Progressing from Mortgage Caseowner to Operations Team Manager via 4 promotions. I am in a privileged position currently where I have the opportunity to develop and motivate people to achieve more on a daily basis; but I'm now ready for the next step in my career to do this across a bigger population and make a difference on a wider scale. The soft skills that I've developed, experience with challenging/difficult conversations, project management and managing expectations have allowed me to consider the bigger picture and ensure that deliveries are successful. I'm ready to now adapt these skills to a senior role and looking for the next step in an exciting career.
