Duties: Working as a Business Analyst / Implementer / Developer using UML2 and Toad / Oracle UNIX, SAS, Web Technologies. Liaising with requirements group to define business processes, rules and objects using Visio and template documents, to allow developers to produce a patient based health monitoring workflow system. Closely worked with Test Team using various Test Tools including Test Director.Worked on design and implementation of a Windows based scripting application. This was initially written in VB but then migrated to .Net which used an Oracle back end to store script objects. This was then used to generate scripts for use in main application.

Duties: Working as a Developer / Tester and Business Analyst. Role included specification and development of content management systems / intranet using ASP.and VB. for data processing and HTML and XHTML, DHTML and CSS to W3C Standards for presentation using an Internet based Web Browser utilising Visual Studio as an IDE, SQL Server utilising Stored Procedures and DTS Packages for Data Processing. User liaison, Application Testing, with all required supporting documentation.

Duties: Responsible for a number teams developing systems as a Business Analyst , Team Leader , Hands On Developer and Tester including Prescription Reporting / Maintenance, Micro Support, Direct Payment to Contractors, Prescription Fraud, on a number platforms with teams ranging from 3 to 8 persons in size. Was involved in management customer liaison, team development, and appraisals. Developed many small bespoke systems utilising Access / VB / Excel to provide statistical information for management and pharmaceutical reports. Application Testing , Unit Testing , Load Testing, Performance Testing. Testing included production of test plans and implementation documentation (component, integration, system, acceptance, regression and maintenance levels) Also responsible for identifying , analysing and producing user friendly reports and data sets to support fraud and efficiency initiatives

Platform: Honeywell DPS7; Duties: Spent first twelve months of contract designing, specifying, testing and implementing a Prescribing Reporting System, providing reports from Doctor to National Level. I believe I was the first ever computer contractor employed by the PPA, and was the last to leave on this project. As other contractors left I had to help with programming and maintenance, but when the Project Leader handed his notice I was asked to step in as Project Leader, in which capacity I finished the contract.
