Responsible for estimate preparation for Heavy Highway divisions major projects as well as assisting division VP in development of companies Design Build pursuits to include pre bid design planning and refinement as well as technical presentation development. Typical project range $30 mil +.

Responsible for estimation and management of commercial, municipal and DOT projects for the commercial division. Typical project sizes were 1-5 million. Full responsibility for activities required to complete multiple contracts simultaneously including scheduling, resource allocation, administrative duties and profit/loss reporting.

Managed estimating efforts for North Carolina division of this eastern U.S. underground utility contractor whileconcurrently acting as project manager for work totaling approximately $25 million in annual revenue. Negotiated the company’s first Design-Build contract to perform site work and utilities for Hensel Phelps at Fort Braggs FORSCOM project. Other projects included large municipal water and wastewater projects as well as projects for private developers and commercial contractors.

Developed project pricing and ensured contractual requirements of projects were covered in the pricing. Managed large scale urban drainage projects with cast in place culverts and form lined walls, dam repairs using both concrete walls and bentonite clay liners, roadway extensions, Federal Highway work in Bryce Canyon Utah, sporting fields and golf courses, bridges and a myriad of other heavy highway/heavy civil projects ranging from $500K to $10mil.
