Project Manager of 'Customer Data Access', a key project within the Customer Data Services programme, introducing new capabilities to the "Weather DataHub" a customer facing data portal. Runner Up in the internal 2020 Excellence Award in the ‘We keep evolving’ category. Responsible for delivering a ‘sub setting’ capability for Gridded Atmospheric Model data (and the associated integration and operating model). A step change in how customers access meteorologic data, extending reach to those previously unable to access the complete meteorological models. Role extended through creation of business cases for further phases and management of successful procurement activities.

Responsible for working with business PMs to deliver all technology aspects of the Clarks portfolio. Responsible for delivering projects totalling approximately 10% of a £40m pa portfolio. Most recent projects have been for various business functions; Retail/POS systems (Gift Cards in UK and integration projects with Asian POS vendors), Treasury (introduced a Cloud based Treasury Management System), Manufacturing (introducing the first UK Clarks production facility in a generation) and Logistics/Suppy Chain (implementing a 4m pair pa European Distribution Centre).

As the Product Owner for Supply Chain systems I was responsible for prioritising demand (projects, Continuous Improvement and BAN Change alongside support) into the Supply Chain IT team, shaping business cases and Project Charters supporting the corporate Strategy and managing a team of functional experts. Dozens of systems and technologies in use within this functional area, key being SAP and integration with many other systems and third parties using SAP PI, Biztalk, Mulesoft APIs, FTP etc.

As the Product Owner for all Logistics Systems supporting the 23m unit per annum International Distribution Centre it was my responsibility to ensure that projects were managed end to end, continuous improvement of systems and processes was aligned to available technologies and that all stakeholders had excellent communication from my team, from Director level to teams and users on the shop floor. This was a dynamic and rewarding role in a fast paced, 24/7 environment where all issues had to be addressed in line with agreed Service Level Agreements and operating budgets were well managed.

Part of the team maintaining systems in Clarks core DC. Expert in configuration of Manhattan WMS, skilled at interrogating database and operating systems, managed all RF equipment on site and production print capabilities. Held key roles (in collaboration with suppliers) in designing, testing and implementing changes to both Warehouse Management Systems and the fully automated Warehouse Control Systems including SCADA and PLC.

Held key roles in the multi million pound fully automated Distribution Centre project. Was responsible for procurement and service contracts for much of the internal equipment ie RF and thermal printing equipment. Managed customer testing (in partnership with WMS and WCS suppliers) of all integration messages between systems. Undertook business analysis and comms throughout the project to ensure systems and processes were suitable and adopted by the existing workforce.
