I am a highly experienced business consultant with a proven track record of success in business. In 392 days I conceived and founded Smiles and took it from a blank piece of paper to a $66m Australian listed stock market company.After running the listed company for 9 months a new executive team was bought in by the board to run the company.After I launched an unsuccessful EGM in May 2019 to change the disastrous board and executive team I left the executive team and board to explore other start up ideas i had.Since getting involved with the business of dentistry in 2005, I have the experience of both starting and running my own dental practice as well as founding and running a large dental corporation. Through these ventures I have experienced the best and the worst of dental practice ownership and the pros and cons of a dental corporation.

In May 2007 I co-founded this enterprise with my colleague, David Garofalo, a national dental corporation owning and operating dental practices throughout Australia. I served as the CEO for over 5 years, building the organisation from the ground up experiencing rapid growth. I was responsible for dental practices and clinics in over 60 locations across metro and regional Australia and a sophisticated head office and operations call centre. I led and motivated a successful executive management team, a national team comprised of more than 700 employees and managed P&L for business divisions exceeding $100 million revenue.Achievements during this role include:- Successfully guiding the company start up through the Global Financial Crisis.- Creating many new systems and approaches to dentistry that provided more efficiency to dental practices that are still used to this day.- Established annual employee training and educational program’s and conferences for support staff, practice managers and dentists- Successfully raising capital from investors, implementing the strategy and successfully selling the company and returning all monies plus considerable upside to ALL investors .

I founded Totally Teeth in 2008. Within 3 years we had over 30,000 patients and an annual turnover of $3million. In June 2008 I sold the practice to Dental Partners.Achievements during this role included:- Founded the company, raised initial capital, oversaw the recruitment of all staff, implemented unique marketing strategy’s and over delivered on the business plan.- Debunked many myths about what was acceptable practice both internally and externally regarding the running and marketing of a dental practice which are still being used industry wide now.

- This was very similar to Totally Teeth (above) conceived the business plan, raised the money, delivered on the strategy and sold it.- I bought large corporation bartering to the SME market place to enable all business’ whatever their size to benefit from being able to utilize their spare capacity in a useful economic manner.
