I graduated High School in 1980. Completed my apprenticeship through the carpenters local 1506 in Los Angeles in 1984. I worked as a journeyman carpenter from 1984 through 1999. I became a project manager for Pacific General Inc. in Los Angeles in 1999 through 2001. I then moved to Hawaii and worked again as a carpenter on Maui for 1 year. Island life was not for me, I then moved to Idaho and after brief employment as a carpenter started my own business which I operated successfully until late 2012. In 2013 I rejoined the union in LA to advance my pension credits and have worked for SDI from 2-13 until 6-2020. I started back as a field carpenter and quickly advanced to superintendent. I was then promoted to field PM for them in Laramie Wyoming. I love the building industry and the ongoing challenges and development of technology within our trade.I have since joined the team of Blacktail Drywall LLC under the mother ship of the Orion Companies. April 2022 Blacktail Drywall became a stand alone entity as the Orion group is restructuring. In June of 2022 an offer was accepted to rejoin the SDI family and i am glad to be back!!
