My Responsibilities include:* Purchase new & used equipment working with an annual budget of $250K plus* Installation and support of ~thirteen S91 Gerber Cutters at 7 different plants (domestic & international)* Designing circuitry for CNC and PC computers* Lead the corporate qualitiy improvement process* Audit the performance of preventative maintenance* Training new cutting room operators and supervisors* Manage 7 cutting room supervisors* Implement new innovations and modifications that cut costs effectively and improve the performance and/or efficiency of the Gerber cutters and Cutting Edge Machines* Provide phone and on-site support* Maintain corporate inventory records, guide in the purchase of spare/replacement parts* Rebuild/refurbish Gerber Cutters* Work with metal division to solve problems on robtic welding equipment, water jet cutters, CNC punch presses, CNC tube benders, as well as electrical wiring* Operate various troubleshooting tools like oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, amp probes, signal generators, & soldering equipment.
