Absolutely over the moon to start as Hitachi’s handover engineer I will be out on the road touching base with all existing and new customers building relationships and spending time going over the machines spending time with the customers and operators to make sure everything is going smoothly and everyone is happy. This is a fantastic experience that I’m going to give my all I’m looking forward to getting out on the road .

I worked for Mc fletch on a number of different projects and got my first experience at operating the high reach witch i really enjoyed and most defiantly could see myself being a full time high reach operator.

I started with E Corr as a trainee plant op and worked with some great people that took the time with me i learnt a lot about crushing and screening and ways to produce quality aggregate though screening and crushing methods. I spent a while contract crushing a team of us travelled from site to site crushing and screening materials. Seeing the different sites and materials was a good learning curve for myself as some jobs would be a easy job like crushing clean hardcore then the next job could be a remideation job with wet material to screen and crush to a suitable product. So learning the correct way to set the screener and correct loading was vital to get the material we wanted.

I worked at Pryors as a fitter and went to Bircham Newton Construction College and achieved a nvq 3 in plant maintenance and repair. while at the College i also done a welding and cutting course these skills i picked up have been a great help. Im confident to do major repairs to machines and can also do welding and hard facing on attachments etc.
