I am presently an Applications Engineering Director for Siemens EDA based in Boulder, CO (previously Mentor Graphics Corporation). In my role, I work closely with R&D, sales, and product marketing and provide direction and management over a group of engineers focused on providing product knowledge to our sales teams as well as driving product adoption by our customers. While at Siemens EDA, I’ve participated in the development and deployment of many products targeted at the PCB and system design markets and have worked with highly successful teams that combined efforts to make Siemens EDA a leader in PCB Design Software.Prior to joining Mentor Graphics, I worked for Intergraph Corporation and later Intergraph Computer Systems both in marketing positions. The latter position as Director of Marketing for Digital Media hardware products. At Intergraph Computer Systems, I was fortune enough to work with an amazing group of professionals that produced many industry firsts in the areas of Windows-based 3D animation, video editing and HD video editing hardware and software. I also had the privilege of working as a partner with some of digital media’s leading companies such as Adobe, Autodesk (previously Discreet Logic, Kinetix and Softimage) Avid, Microsoft, and others.I enjoy all of the aspects of my job, but I especially like working with our sales and applications teams, providing education and support to them and our customers. I also enjoy traveling and have spent many of my 25+ years in marketing working with resellers and customers located in many parts of the world.I lead an active lifestyle with interests including cycling, climbing, hiking, and virtual racing, as well as trying to develop my expertise as a brewer.I’m passionate about my work and am interested in hearing from interested individuals and companies.
