-Based on negotiated terms, create and distribute contracts for sponsorships with ASCAP’s award shows, EXPO and small events.-Review agreements with hotels and venues to ensure it fits the needs of ASCAP and ASCAP’s members.-Review settlements between ASCAP Members and work with the Member’s attorney representatives to coordinate the proper ASCAP record updates and royalty distribution.-Review estates and claims files to determine the appropriate plan of action ASCAP needs to take to properly distribute royalties.-Update ASCAP’s records for irrevocable assignments or revocable authorizations to third party payees based on loans or assignments. -Coordinate writer or publisher transfers from affiliations with other Performing Rights Societies to ASCAP membership.-Help with onsite production at ASCAP’s events (such as: supervision of ASCAP EXPO’s one-on-one sessions and help with transportation at the Library of Congress event).

• Review and coordinate contracts for company’s events (i.e. ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO, New York Sessions,Award Shows)• Research and create affidavits and confirmations for International Performing Rights Societies to help with any litigation.• Administrative duties for the AVP of Legal Affairs such as, answering phones for AVP, General Counsel & SVP and Director of Legal Corporate, draft letters, confirmations, affidavits, help with research on previous litigation, and communicate with foreign performing rights societies.

· Make sure the members correctly receive royalties distributed from ASCAP· Coordinate 10 staff members: work with the team to meet deadlines on projects and handle inquires from ASCAP members.· Facilitate department and team meeting.· Review contracts and agreements to resolve discrepancies or disputes between share splits on a song title or on members catalogs· Train new employees entering into the department by creating development plans and setting short and long term goals.
